The specifications of the buffer block are mainly directly related to the "spring spacing". Please note that the specifications of the installed buffer block are suitable for the corresponding spring. Please do not install if the specifications do not match. (If you are shopping online, it is recommended to measure the spring spacing before purchase. That is the safest and most secure way).
The circumference of the buffer block may exceed the circumference of the spring (that is, the head and tail of the buffer block will overlap after installation). If there is overlap, the excess length must be cut off, otherwise there will be no disadvantages! Pay attention to the average cut at both ends, for example: if there is excess (overlapping) 8 cm, cut off 4 to 5 cm each.
If the circumference of the spring is too large (the buffer block does not surround the spring once after being installed), please pay attention to whether it reaches two thirds of the spring. If it is enough for two-thirds, then there is no problem, and it will not affect the use effect; if it is not enough for two-thirds or even less (this phenomenon is very rare), you need to use two buffer blocks in combination (maximum only around the spring one Circles must not overlap).
Regardless of the overall style of the spring (straight, cone, inverted cone, barrel), the buffer block must be installed in the middle of the spring, so that the best effect can be achieved. The opening of the buffer block outward or inward does not affect the use effect, but the opening will be more beautiful inward.
When the car body is lifted up, the spring is in a stretched state, and the spring spacing during stretching cannot match the buffer block (so the body should not be raised too high), try to let the spring enter the buffer block slot or one side Into the slot. When lowering the car body slowly, check and note that the spring is fully inserted into the upper and lower grooves of the buffer block.
After the buffer block is installed properly, it is recommended to use nylon cable ties to fix the buffer block and the spring as a whole at the buffer block hole (click to see what is the nylon cable tie). The advantage is to avoid loosening or walking in long-term use. In addition, It is because when the car body is lifted in the future, it is not easy for the spring to stretch out of the buffer block slot.
