Phosphating treatment and movement requirements of rear bumper spring for Honda

- Jun 27, 2019-

The surface treatment of the rear bumper spring for Honda is generally performed by phosphating, and other treatments can be performed. Where the plating is to be zinc and cadmium, the hydrogen removal treatment shall be carried out after electroplating, and 3% (not less than 3 pieces) shall be pumped after hydrogen removal, and there shall be no break during the retest. The spring should remove surface dirt, salt marks and scales. The method can be sandblasted or gasoline cleaned, but it cannot be pickled.

The important spring compression time of the Honda rear bumper spring is 24 hours, and the normal spring is 6 hours or continuous compression 3~5 times, each time for 3~5 seconds. When the pressure is tight, the gap between the spring and the mandrel is preferably 10% of the diameter of the mandrel. If the gap is too small, it is difficult to operate. If the gap is too large, the spring is easily bent and deformed. If one of the springs breaks when pressed, the rest should be reprocessed.

The Honda rear bumper spring tension spring (pull spring) is a coil spring that receives axial tension. The tension spring is generally made of a circular cross-section material. When the load is not subjected to load, the ring of the tension spring is generally tight and has no gap. It uses the resilience (tension) after stretching to control the movement of the machine, the energy stored, and the measurement force. It is widely used in machines and meters. The hooks are in the form of side hook tension springs, long hook tension springs, English hook tension springs, German hook tension springs, semicircular hook tension springs, duckbill hook tension springs, etc. The materials are stainless steel, piano steel, high carbon. Steel, phosphor bronze, oil tempered alloy spring steel, etc.
